Qatargas Operating Company has many exciting and challenging opportunities available for qualified professionals. Qatargas is currently expanding three times its size by building four new LNG trains and spending over $20 billion on its expansion projects in it’s pursuit to become the worlds leading LNG supplier. We seek applications from suitably qualified personnel for the following key positions:

ESU OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT

LNG/SRU AREA
Shift Supervisors
Must have a minimum of 8 years experience within sulfur recovery plants. Familiar with CLAUS, superclaus and TGT processes. This position is a senior supervisory level and you will be responsible for a team pf operators reporting directly to Head of operation.

Panel Operator
Graduate/ Diploma with min. 8 years experience in LNG / LPG, gas turbine and Gas Treating plant with through knowledge of process. Control safe Start-up, Normal and Shutdown operations by DCS as per established procedures / operating manuals and good industry practices.

Senior Operator
Diploma / NCTVT with a formal plant training and able to lead his team on routine day to day process activities in LNG / LPG Refinery or Gas Treating plant. Minimum 10 years Experience and out of which at least 4 years as Senior Operator.

Rover Operator
Diploma / NCTVT with a formal plant training with minimum 5 years experience in LNG Plant, LPG Refinery or Gas Treating plant in the same position. Thorough knowledge of Process is must.

COMMON LEAN PROJECT
Shift Supervisor
Must have min. 10 years of LNG storage and ship loading experience, able to lead a team of 5, reporting to head of section.

Senior Operator/ Rover Operator
Must have min. 5 years of LNG storage and ship loading experience, familiar with loading arms connection.

LIQUID BERTH
Senior Operator / Rover operator
Must have 5 years of HC storage and ship loading experience with floating and conical roof tanks, able to connect/ disconnect ship loading arms, reporting to panel operator.

RAS LAFFAN TERMINAL OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT

STORAGE AND LOADING
Panel Operator
Panel operator for storage tank and marine jetty loading of condensate, LPG and refinery products.

Senior Operator
Senior operator for storage tank and marine jetty loading of condensate, LPG and refinery products.

Rover Operator
Rover operator for storage tank and marine jetty loading of condensate, LPG and refinery products.

COMMON SULFUR PROJECT
Day Supervisor
Day supervisor for Liquid sulphur granulation, solid storage handling and ship loading facility.

Panel operator
Panel operator for Liquid sulphur granulation, solid storage handling and ship loading facility.

Rover operator
Rover operator for Liquid sulphur granulation, solid storage handling and ship loading facility.

BUSINESS DEPARTMENT
Documentation and Systems Specialist
Documentation system specialist to set up and manage a TDMS with associated system support and administration. Degree in IT or Doc. Mgt with 15 years + relevant experience.

OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT
Operations Advisor
Graduate Engineer (Chemical) with 20+ years experience of hydrocarbon tank farm and marine loading experience to develop best practice in operations safety and efficiency.

DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT
Handover Planning Lead
Graduate Engineer with 10+ yrs experience of operations startup, maintenance, spares and documentation to oversee operational readiness for startup of storage and marine loading facilities.

Controls Engineer
Graduate Control Engineer with 10+ years experience (Invensys systems preferred) to manage design, maintenance and upgrade of DCS/ESD and related systems for storage and marine loading facilities.

Facilities/Process Engineer
Graduate Chemical Engineer with 10+ years experience to perform (or define) studies and prepare modification packages for tank farm and marine loading equipment.

Inspection Engineer
Graduate QA/QC Engineer with 10+ years experience of storage tank, marine jetty structure, piping and piperack inspection and asset integrity management.

Metering Engineer
Graduate engineer (Chemical or Mechanical) with 10+ years experience in design and operation of metering systems for hydrocarbon liquid products.

Document Controller (Junior Staff)
Document controller with 10+ years experience to manage transition of project documents for storage and loading facilities into TDMS.
