Vacancy as Assistant Manager, Marine Operations/Testing & Commissioning

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a highly motivated individual to join us as a:

Assistant Manager, Marine Operations/Testing & Commissioning
(Vietnam)

Responsibilities:

* Assist during vessel systems Testing & Commissioning including Sea Trial with Class & Vendor Reps
* Operations & Barge Master for Submersible Barge
* Primarily Responsible for Jacking Operations of Lift Boats after leg erection
* Ensure all major equipment are installed according to approved drawings
* Ensure commissioning tasks are completed
* Obtain & study vendor’s pre-commissioning punch lists
* Inspection & Reporting of equipment readiness for Commissioning Test/Sea Trial
* Minor adjustments and intervention on equipment under test, as and when required
* Execution of Load Tests, Certification Tests of Cranes & Jacking Systems per approved Procedures
* Data Recording for all test results and reporting
* Follow-up & Verification of any punch list issued by Client/Class
* Operation & maintenance of the Submersible Barge at wharf or designated area during Loading/Offloading Operations
* Verification of sea-fastenings on Submersible Barge according to approved plans
* Preparation for Towing Operation of Submersible Barge and accompany Submersible Barge on the tug

Requirements:

* Relevant experience as a Chief Engineer with at least 5 years related work experience
* Relevant training for equipment systems and HSE training
* Ability to settle problems within established guidelines
* Ability to train & lead a team
* Willing to be based in Vietnam
